新加坡國家環境局（National Environment Agency, NEA）與土地管理局（Singapore Land Authority, SLA）於2022年8月2日簽署瞭解備忘錄（Memorandum of Understandin, MOU），計劃5年合作期程，開發運用由SLA「新加坡衛星定位參考網路（Singapore Satellite Positioning Reference Network, SiReNT）」取得之全球導航衛星系統（Global Navigation Satellite System, GNSS）數據，俾為新加坡提供更多氣象監測數據，促進氣象預報的探索性研究。
