歐盟執委會（European Commission, EC）日前通過針對符合《數位服務法（Digital Services Act, DSA）》定義之超大型線上平臺（Very Large Online Platforms, VLOPs）和超大型線上搜尋引擎（Very Large Online Search Engines, VLOSEs）制定的監管費規則和程序，預計於2023年秋季開始徵收監管費。

美國聯邦通信委員會（Federal Communication Commission, FCC）於2021年8月26日公布2021財政年度監管費（regulatory fee）評估與收費之報告與命令（Report and Order）及法規制訂通告（Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, NPRM）。
