歐盟《數位服務法（Digital Services Act, DSA）》指定17個超大型線上平臺（Very Large Online Platforms, VLOPs）及2個超大型線上搜尋引擎（Very Large Online Search Engines, VLOSEs）應自2023年8月25日起遵守《DSA》新義務。Google及Microsoft（Bing）兩大VLOSEs發布聲明將遵守《DSA》新義務，並評估及降低平臺的風險，以及擴大平臺的內容審查。

歐盟執委會（European Commission, EC）日前通過針對符合《數位服務法（Digital Services Act, DSA）》定義之超大型線上平臺（Very Large Online Platforms, VLOPs）和超大型線上搜尋引擎（Very Large Online Search Engines, VLOSEs）制定的監管費規則和程序，預計於2023年秋季開始徵收監管費。
